To participate in the ‘Free Hair for a Year’ competition, entrants must be individuals over 18 years of age. Employees and their immediate family members of By George Hair are excluded from entering this competition.
Entrants are limited to one entry per person, per cut, colour or styling appointment.
To enter the competition, eligible entrants must visit By George Hairdressing Salon, receive a style cut, colour, blow styling service, and complete the competition form with their personal details. The winner(s) will be announced via our official channels, including our website and social media platforms, after the draw.
The competition commences on 8th October 2024 and concludes on 23rd December 2024. The grand winner will be drawn close of business 23rd of December 2024. All entries must be received during this period.
The Free ‘Hair for a Year’ prize includes hair services (cuts, colour, and styling) for one year. Each visit will have a minimum of 8 weeks between appointments. Additionally, each visit has a maximum value of $300. The prize cannot be transferred, redeemed for cash, or accumulated between visits. The voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offers, discounts, or special deals.
The competition winner(s) will be contacted via the contact information provided in their competition entry form. If the initial winner(s) cannot be contacted within a reasonable timeframe, a new winner will be selected.
By entering this competition, the winner(s) agree to be involved in promoting the salon across the prize period. This includes being photographed, interviewed, and featured in promotional materials, articles, or social media posts promoting the competition or salon. By participating, entrants grant By George Hair the right to use their name, image, and likeness for these promotional purposes.
By George Hairdressing reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who breaches the competition terms and conditions. This includes instances of cheating to gain an unfair advantage or infringing upon third-party intellectual property rights.
1 – The entrant acknowledges and agrees that if the Prize or Promotion Prize is unavailable, By George Hairdressing reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to State and Territory legislation.
2 – By George Hairdressing reserves the right to conduct a redraw if an entrant, claiming to be a winner, is unable to satisfy the terms or has breached the terms.
3 – By George Hairdressing bears no responsibility for accepting late, lost, or misdirected entries.
4 – Nothing in these terms and conditions limits, excludes, or modifies the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the State and Territories of Australia.
